We are in Clavais, a village of forty-nine inhabitants suspended at the foot of the Zoncolan, in the heart of Carnia. All around, there are only meadows that slope down towards the valley, woods, mountains and a silence that you can hear. It is the right place for those seeking true contact with nature, a slower pace and peace.

The space

The chalet that welcomes you is not just any building: the owner built it with his own hands over a period of fifteen years, following traditional techniques, salvaging old wood and taking care of every joint and every detail with the patience of someone who builds to last.

The result is an entirely wooden space, warm and cosy, where every surface tells a story of artisanal skill: from the exposed beams to the hand-painted panels with traditional Alpine motifs.

The apartment is completely independent and offers ample space designed to accommodate up to eight guests, making it the ideal solution for large families or groups of friends who want to enjoy the mountain experience together without sacrificing comfort.

The living area is dominated by the large living room with its characteristic fireplace, the warm heart of the house on winter evenings, flanked by the fully equipped kitchen and the dining area.

The real star, however, is the spectacular panoramic terrace, accessible from both the living room and the master bedroom. A large, private space overlooking the valley and the mountains of Carnia, perfect for enjoying breakfast in the silence, having lunch in the open air, enjoying an aperitif at sunset or simply relaxing while admiring the view.

The sleeping area includes two spacious double bedrooms. One of them is a real family room, thanks to the presence of a comfortable sofa bed and direct access to the panoramic terrace. A second sofa bed is located in the living room, allowing you to comfortably accommodate up to eight people.

The apartment is completed by a large bathroom, made with the same natural materials that characterise the entire chalet, where wood and stone blend in perfect harmony with the mountain environment.

Outside the door lies the countryside: trails and walks start directly from the chalet, through woods, meadows and unspoilt views. In winter, Ravascletto is about a seven-minute drive away, from where the gondola lift takes you to the Zoncolan ski area. Ovaro, with shops and all the main services, is just a few minutes away.
