We are in Clavais, a village of forty-nine inhabitants suspended at the foot of the Zoncolan, in the heart of Carnia. All around, there are only meadows that slope down towards the valley, woods, mountains and a silence that you can hear. It is the right place for those seeking true contact with nature, a slower pace and peace.

The chalet that welcomes you is not just any building: the owner built it with his own hands over a period of fifteen years, following traditional techniques, salvaging old wood and taking care of every joint and every detail with the patience of someone who builds to last.

The result is an entirely wooden space, warm and cosy, where every surface tells a story of artisanal skill: from the exposed beams to the hand-painted panels with traditional Alpine motifs.

This is one of the largest apartments in the chalet. It is the ideal solution for families, groups of friends or for those who simply love having plenty of space available.

The heart of the house is the magnificent living room, featuring large windows that frame the valley and let in natural light throughout the day. Here you will find a comfortable sofa bed, a relaxation area and an atmosphere that invites you to stop and enjoy the view, whatever the season.

The fully equipped kitchen opens onto the large dining area, dominated by a large solid wood table, perfect for long breakfasts, lunches after a day of hiking or dinners with friends in the warmth of the mountains.

The sleeping area includes two spacious double bedrooms, furnished in keeping with the chalet's alpine style, while the large bathroom offers spacious and comfortable areas, finished with natural materials that reference the wood and stone typical of the Carnic tradition.

Although there is no private terrace, guests can enjoy the chalet's shared outdoor spaces: the garden, the patio and all the nature surrounding the property become a natural extension of the house, with meadows, woods and breathtaking views of the mountains.

Outside the door lies the countryside: trails and walks start directly from the chalet, through woods, meadows and unspoilt views. In winter, Ravascletto is about a seven-minute drive away, from where the gondola lift takes you to the Zoncolan ski area. Ovaro, with shops and all the main services, is just a few minutes away.
